So I bought a pair of Crocs...

The other day was Memorial Day and we just had to get out of the house and do something active with the kids. So we got in the car and took a ride to the Florence Mall in Florence, Kentucky. It is a medium sized mall that caters to middle-class shoppers with JC Penney, Sears and Dillard's as its anchor stores. They also have a great indoor playground for kids, which was the primary reason that we went there. As we were walking to the mall, we stopped in a card store and Rachel suggested that I look at a pair of Crocs to wear during the summer. Now mind you my feet are my least favorite body part. I have never liked wearing sandals and I have never liked the look of my toes, so why would I be inclined to buy a pair of Crocs? But I tried them on and was pleasantly surprised. They fit me perfectly and they were incredibly comfortable to walk in and to stand on on most common flooring surfaces. While they may not be the most visually attractive pair (I chose their color called Coral in the Cayman model which is a bright shade of Orange) of footwear that I have ever owned, but I admit they are an excellent shoe to wear in the warmer months. I had also thought that my bare feet might sweat underneath this plastic material, with wearing a lightweight sock, they still were comfortable. So I am now the proud new owner of a pair of this exciting footwear. Rachel and Noah already have their own pairs, so now the key is to get some for Aaron once his feet are big enough. All in all, it was a wise investment for me to make in the interest of my feet and my comfort. This may also be of help to my problem with sciatica which has been a lot better in the past few weeks. More to follow...

Ok, you both have way too vivid of an imagination. Especially you, GS. By the way, who is BP?

Is this ultimately not just about the comfort of my feet? These shoes are great, despite what jealous others may think.

Think about it and it is not AE.

Jealous - HAHAHAH

Keep in mind that AE has two pairs of these - soon maybe you will get your Belly Button pierced as well - as he did to follow his ex roommate

and the suspicion continues.....

and who the heck is Me?

Now where did Dondi go?

Me is RHF. Have not heard from Dondi in a while, but there is a link to his blog on my splash page. Despit AE's porr lifestyle choices, I still love my Crocs! You really should try them.

If you are into pedagogy and the philosophy of education, then, yes, it is interesting.

No, this is "not just about the comfort of your feet." I am certain that like secondhand smoke, having to see these things is somehow damaging. It's at least aesthetically damaging, if not somehow inflicting physical damage on viewers of these things.

One could say the same thing for:

mullets

air brushed t-shirts

members only jackets
